Soft Focus album cover — a figure in a beanbag chair with a laptop, lit blue in a library at night

The debut album

Soft Focus

Strawbie · 2026 · 17 tracks

A soundtrack for life after midnight. Staring out windows, getting lost in thought, finding your way into flow.

Strawbie wrote Soft Focus the way you'd keep a diary of late nights — one track at a time, mostly after everyone else had gone to bed. It's her first album, and it sounds like it: unhurried, a little unresolved, made for the hours when the room goes quiet and your thoughts finally get loud.

The record moves between ambient electronics, hazy melodies, warm analog textures, and something close to nostalgia for a place that doesn't exist. Seventeen instrumentals, no vocals, nothing that asks for your attention — which is exactly why it holds it. This is music built to be lived inside rather than listened to.

Side A is the night beginning. Side B is somewhere past two a.m.
